Building Relationships

A simple conversation can change someone's life.

Jesus said that doing the Father's will and doing his work is the nourishment we need daily (John 4:34)

Doing the work is related to people regardless of their social, and cultural status, or background. Humans were created to live in relationships, meet people, have friends, and live sharing. For some reason, when God saw the man alone, he said: It is not good for the man to be alone. (Genesis 2:18)

For Jesus, establishing relationships was important. Listening or starting a conversation with someone, allowed him to know their needs, to maybe heal them, but certainly allowed him to share the gospel.

The reality is that we all need to be heard, so we must make building relationships our priority. We do not know who needs an encouragement word, maybe a hug, or perhaps a friend.

When we decide to connect to people it allows us to know them, to see that we all have needs, but also, it allows us to fulfill the Great Commission. We all have the chance to build the best relationship of our lives, we all have the golden opportunity to build a relationship with Jesus. Someone said: We can have a million friends but if we don't have Jesus as our best friend, we've lost everything.

It is my prayer that you can build a solid relationship with your children, spouse, coworkers, neighbors, or maybe strangers; But also that you can build a solid relationship with Jesus so that your life is transformed, guided, and healed.
